Privacy isn't a setting. It's the architecture.

Otso was designed from day one so your data, at home or at work, has nowhere to go but the box you own. For families, for sole traders, for teams.

What goes where.

Stays on your box

Everything personal and confidential

Calendars, email, messages, bills, customer conversations, invoices, documents, preferences and everything Otso learns about you, your family or your business.

Comes in from the internet

Public information only

Weather, events, electricity prices, offers, opening hours and industry news. Otso downloads broad feeds and picks what fits you on the box.

Goes out only with your yes

Actions you approve

A message to a friend or a customer, a booking, an invoice, a payment. Otso shows you exactly what it will send, and waits.

Six promises.

Local by default

The AI model runs on the box. Your data is never used to train anyone's model, and customer data never leaves the office, which keeps GDPR simple.

Open source

Every line of Otso's software is public. Experts can check our promises, and so can you.

You approve actions

Payments, messages and bookings always need a yes. Set spending limits per person.

Guarded against tricks

Emails and web pages are read as information, never as orders. Hidden instructions can't make Otso act.

You decide who sees what

Everyone gets their own profile. At home parents decide what Otso does for children; at work you choose what each employee can see and do.

Yours to delete

Export or wipe everything in the app. Return the box and it's reset in front of you.

A note on WhatsApp, phone and email.

When you, or a customer, message or call Otso's number, that message travels through the messaging or phone provider before it reaches your box, just like any other message. Otso only sees what is sent to it. It never reads your own WhatsApp chats. For the most private option, talk to Otso in the Otso app, which connects straight to your box.
